Exact same view as in DHJanzen100795.jpg, on 25 April 1999 (full dry season), 19 years after the last fire (1980). There is still jaragua present but only along the edges, and there is a continuous canopy of multibranched spreading tree crowns. Winnie Hallwachs for scale in the lower center is standing in the same place that she was standing in 1986, on the edge of the Cliff Top Regeneration Plot (I am standing on the road bordering it).
