But harvest from the forest was not just meat for the table and for the Edea market. These hunters needed human fuel from the forest, all they could get - all they could not get from the forest was yet more expenditure of scarce cash money in the Edea market. This innocent-looking clump of greenery behind one of the houses hides the evidence.
