| Imagine trying to restore a bit of forest to this landscape - the agroscape somewhere between Guatemala City and Nicaragua. The last few living dead adorn the right wall of the crater in the top of this ancient cinder cone volcano. That is not much to start with. Instead of struggling against this agroscape, frankly, the resources would be much better spent on restoring and protecting other much more intact areas of forest elsewhere in Central America. | ||
