This is another view through the young pochote plantation in image DHJanzen100860.jpg above, emphasizing that the tree saplings have been planted in neat rows and that the pasture grasses have been mowed to reduce possible fire impact and lower competition with the tree saplings. This is, however a management cost that must be charged against the eventual harvest gains decades later.
