So what is the difference between the natural biodegredation site, a wild biodiversity service, and the modern Del Oro composting site? Aside from appearance, the difference is that the Del Oro site has a $400,000 to $600,000 annual budget, while the ACG biodegredation site cost about $3,000 to operate. That is to say, the ACG biodiversity was doing $400-$600 k in environmental services.

There will come a time when the socio-political processes and forces in Costa Rica will allow the ACG to move ahead once again in its biodiversity development, as it should, but for the meantime......
