It is tempting to chose two butterflies from a collection and declare them models and mimics by virtue of knowing which belongs to a classically inedible family and which to a classically edible family. This image and the following are an example of legitimately doing that. This is an African acraeine (Acraea), belonging to an ostentatious, slow-flying, definitely rejected group of butterflies. It is a model.
