This 3000-year-old bone spear point (note the replaceable razor-sharp obsidian stone blades set into a groove on both sides from coastal Alaska is yet another way to make a megafaunal-killing spear. By the time this spear point was in play, the easy-to-kill naive species of big herbivores had already been eliminated, and the residents were living on a combination diet much more as one could harvest today with spear, bow and arrow and a lot of gathering.
