next slide --->
A branch of Acacia collinsii with yellow inflorescences (very short branches with hundreds of tiny flowers), green immature inflorescences, full-sized but immature dark green fruits (pods), and an opened mature fruit (with the yellow fruit pulp with seeds inside that, and one seed hanging on a pulp fiber). You may ask yourself what kind of seed dispersal agent would brave the ants to get the sweet pulp around the seeds, thereby dispersing the seeds.
